Tune in to the Sarah Silverman Program at its new time, Thursdays at 12am/11c. This week, in "A Fairly Attractive Mind," Sarah has the mistaken epiphany that she is retarded, and tries to use her disability to inspire people.
In this episode of Odds and Ends, the cast talks about beloved character actor and comic's comic Dave Juskow, we get a time lapse look at shooting of the stunt where a truck runs over the ladder, and find out where the name "Slip" came from along with some other backstory.
Watch The Sarah Silverman Program this Thursday at 10:30pm/9:30c!
Brian Posehn is many things: comedian, sports hero, hunky television star, but did you know he was also a geek? Watch as he lays all his credentials on the table in this mega-illuminating interview from G4's "Attack of the Show."
Ready for more Story Time with Sarah St. Claire? The latest installment of "Odds and Ends" takes a look inside "The Silverman and the Pillows," so exclusive that it includes not only a story from Sarah, but a poem from Laura, an advertisement for Jay's judo school "Kickies", and a lesson on what it's like to shoot in those bear costumes from Steve as well. Also, as a special treat, Sarah does some impressions of her fellow cast members.
You demanded it, so here it is! The soundtrack to "The Sarah Silverman Program," "From Our Rears to Your Ears," is available for the first time on March 2. As you know, Valentine's Day commemorates that unforgettable day in 1986 when actor Scott Valentine invented love. And every year on February 14, we each struggle in our own way to find the words to express how we feel about our friends and loved ones. Well, this year why not let a TV show do it for you? Just send them one of these special Valentine's cards from The Sarah Silverman Program.
Shooting on location in a public park, Sarah and Laura had to lip sync "The Baby Penis in Your Mind" in full view of innocent onlookers. The song was so catchy and played so many times that the cast and crew could be heard humming and singing it throughout the evening.
Wondering where the song came from? Wonder no more! Sarah explains the inspiration behind the song in this week's Odds and Ends clip! Also, Steve Agee talks about what it's like being in a tutu on the set, (Spoiler: He doesn't like it)."
You'd never know it, but both the campfire scenes and the cemetery scenes were shot on a golf course in Griffith Park. Director Rob Schrab had everything from bug experts, giant smoke machines and even a couple of toy bats on strings at his disposal to make his spooky cemetery come to life. At one point, the shoot was stalled when a poisoned centipede was lost.
Remember when you were a kid and you had books that told you all about being a good person? Well, Sarah's new children's book is almost like that. It tells kids what's bad. Like fires! Crackle, crackle — whoosh! Fire! Exciting!
But making fires is bad, kids. So, do good stuff like education and books instead.
A few days ago, Sarah gave a few pavement-beating reporters a sneak peek at the third season of The Sarah Silverman Program…
Matt: It sounds like you have a good season coming up.
Sarah: It does, right? I know I'm forgetting like eight episodes. There's one episode; our eighth episode actually is a Steve and Brian story line that, you'll actually, dare I say, cry at the end.
It was written as a drama. Rob Schrab, actually, who directs most of the episodes, and writes so much and created the show with me, wrote this episode; and he wrote the "A" story like it's a drama. I don't think it's like a very special "Family Ties," but I think you might get choked up at the end.
Don't miss the season premiere tomorrow at 10:30pm/9:30c, and check out the rest of the interview after the jump to hear Sarah's thoughts about Conan, her gay fans, and what she would be doing if not for her show…
