Welcome to the Sarah Silverman Season Two Blog
Welcome everybody to the Sarah Silverman Program Season 2 blog. My name is Eric, and I had the opportunity to work on the show from the first day of writing to the last day of filming, providing me with many hilarious stories which I can't wait to pass on to all of you. As your show insider, for the next few weeks I'll be posting actors, upcoming standup dates and TV appearances, links to their many short films, and funny clips from season 1. Once the show premieres October 3rd, I'll be bringing you stories from the set, deleted scenes, and as much hot Brian on Steve action as Comedy Central will let me get away with.
Check back daily for more postings.

ya know it really grinds my gears when people try to blame tv shows for perpetuating stereotypes. That is such bullshit. I'm not racist and I love the Sarah Silverman show; I go to school with a racist asshole that hates the Sarah Silverman show...so what does that prove? I'll tell you what it proves- fucking nothing! Racism and the Sarah Silverman show are totally unrelated, how can anyone find any correlation there? Especially when it's a fucking comedy! Oh my god and heaven forbid anyone try to JOKE about something that people might be sensitive about. Good comedy is about the issues of the here and now, and while racism is alive and well it isn't because of the Sarah Silverman show, it's because some people are ignorant hater fucks, and other people, like me, just wanna live and let live and enjoy life. I get my kicks off the Sarah Silverman show- it's a parody of how IGNORANT some people are. "Ban the Sarah Silverman show because its meeaan boo hoo" No- Fuck you! raise your kids better and maybe then they'll be able to tell the difference between a joke and their LIFE!
I thoroughly enjoyed the first season on DVD. Honestly, what's the fuss? I thought it was going to be much more offensive. It was just funny. I love that Sarah breaks into song about things...it makes me feel more normal because I tend to do the same thing pretty much all the time. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time by myself and with my dogs. Still, how could anyone say that the Sarah Silverman Program is not funny? I don't think I ever heard of her before I found the DVD at Target.
I guess I will have to wait a year for the second season due to a lack of cable or satellite or whatever you need to have to view Comedy Central. It's sad but true, I have to wait to see cable shows of all types. I can't see anything on the internet because I have slow dial up and downloading anything would take too long. This is all due to living in the middle of nowhere and being excessively cheap. Yet, I can justify buying all my television shows on DVD. But, I ramble.
Maybe some people don't think that this show is funny, but I think it's absolutely hysterical.
My husband didn't get it...he said that it's probably already off the air and would never be back. He often says that I am really mean towards people, so maybe it just takes a really special person to like this show as much as I did?
On the DVD Sarah said something about "no fatties" being allowed to watch. For some reason that was my favorite part. Maybe I am just insensitive towards others? Who knows...not being around people very much probably has done some irreparable harm to my higher brain function.
Okie Dokie. I am not sure how blogs work so this is probably in the wrong place. I've really only heard about blogs on news shows, so I think this is my first time participating. Terribly sorry if I have ruined it for others in some way or screwed up too badly. I really did love the DVD! It was just too bad that there were only 6 episodes.
Let me answer my own question: from what I've seen posted here, I'd advise Ms. Silverman to avoid this blog like the plague.
I think she is hysterically funny, and stunningly beautiful (ouch!) to boot.
It sadly seems not too many share my opinion though.
Cripes, do you think that the lovable, albeit extraordinarily obnoxious (poor Jay) is her actual personality?! Yes, and Anthony Hopkins is a cannibal and an incarnation of evil. Grow up!

Er, I'm new here.
Uhm--not that I don't value comments from my fellow fans--but, er, does Ms. Silverman ever actually bother to read these?
Robert
First, just wanted to say "thanks, Eric!"...I NEVER HAVE been a "blogger",
but I figured if the first blog I tried was for The SS Show, that'd be the way to go....
Uhh, a note to Criticone...before you ATTEMPT critical reviews you may want to proof read your silly-shit syntax, BOI! You gotta be writing from the poppy fields of SE Afghanistan to come up with the famous word combo
of: "...complety ass..." I'm sure you won't have to reach into your Stanislafsky bag too deeply to ACT LIKE a "complety ass" because you already ARE one! If you don't like the show, there's this Comedy Central
Customer Service window down the hall where they will look at you seriously, listen to what and how you say things, then laugh their asses off
once you're "out-de-doe".....actually reading your shit cracked me up....try
that critical review shit some more, or on second thought there's this flying
doenut I got here for you to DO something with......
Thirdly: I can't wait for the new shows and wish the principal actors, writers and staff the very best during this tough time and I hope things get squared away before
the upcoming holidays...you gotz tunz of admirers for how and what you take on like NOBODY ELSE gotz duh gutz to take on! Bravo!
The Gay Stonerz Rule! (They really AREN'T actors...are they?!!!)

The Sarah Silverman Show, gosh I got to say... I watched her program couple of times and to be quiet honest, it didn't tickle me in any way! I am a pretty sarcastic guy myself, but her comedy it's as laughable as doing laundry!!
Her sketches revolve and jump from one thing to another with no sense of direction whatsover! I believe highly ramdom, completely out of context and very tasteless are the best way I can describe her overall performance.
Makes me wonder, maybe I ought act like a complety ass, so that I can get myself in show business...
Sarah Silverman! get together with Dr. Steve O, at least his idiocity its entertaining...
Cheers Darling!
Yours truly,
Criticone
Rosedrop80 can eat my ass. Sarah is the best. She's like an older, richer more popular version of me. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that stirs up trouble saying what's on my mind. Every episode is like watching a day out of my own life. I love the show and I hope it's around forever. This show makes being a Jewess cool so Thank you!
I can't believe anybody watches this show!!! Why is this show even on the air?? It's horrible!!
