Before Mini Coffee hit it big as the host of her own cooking show, she started with a small public access show called, "Thriller Chiller Theater." Filled with viewer mail, magic tricks, and scares-o-plenty, it's obvious here that Mini was meant for bigger and better things.
Here's a test clip for the music video from season one "The Doodie Song". The actor playing Sarah is Todd Bishop (the director's assistant), and the "Little Boy" is played by John O'Rourke (1st Assistant Director). Here's both the clip:
Below is the amazing music video of Death Cab for Cutie's "Crooked Teeth," made by co-creator and director Rob Schrab (pronounced "Shrob") If you pronounce it any other way, he'll either punch you in the face or kindly correct you and buy you a soda. Death Cab gave Rob a $5000 budget, and he and his crew (Rhet Bear (DP), Sevan Najarian (animation), Jeff Crocker (animation) and Morgan Locke (animation)) did it for $350.
Whenever someone asks our co-creator and director Rob Schrab how he got the job to direct the pilot, he always responds matter-of-factly, "I stuck my dick in an orange." Watch the clip (NSFW) and decide for yourself what that means.
